Always on the secure side with Geis SDV

With regulation (VO (EG) No. 648/2005) the state of the authorised economic operator (AEO) has been put in place. The AEO is partly similar to the us-American customs trade partnership against terrorism (C-TPAT).

Among others, the state of AEO enables companies to profit from simplified appliances within the European community to obtain permission for customs treatments with economic importance or others. So the use of similar standards throughout the whole European community in granting this state is of major importance.

The approval of this state is linked to elaborate prerequisites referring to the reliability, the creditableness, and the strict observance of the relevant legal provisions as well as the compliance of assigned safety standards.

Being one of the first German logistic services with head quarters at Frankfurt airport Geis SDV gained the sate of AEO on December 10. 2008. We are benefiting from some advantages towards our competitors. For our customers Geis SDV can prove once more being a reliable and trustworthy partner. Our clients can as well profit from the customs simplifications related to us being AEO.

Yet we do not only hold the state of the AEO, but of cause we follow strictly the international regulations regarding compliance. We may also use our edp - address checking, to support our customers in anti-terror compliance filing.

Furthermore we offer the fast and safe electronic export-filing (AES / ZAPP) to our customers for all air- and sea freight exports.

For the external communication of the safe supply chain, our new safety flyer is available for our clients in German language. This flyer is also published as an electronic version in the download area.
